Taylor Swift’s Writing Career – An Early Start
There’s no denying that Taylor Swift is a great songwriter! She’s been doing it for a really long time too. In fact, Taylor Swift’s writing career got an early start. And she even won a national poetry contest.
According to CapitalFM, a Swiftie posted on Twitter, showing a poem Taylor wrote back in 4th grade. Taylor was around 9 or 10 at the time! The poem is called, “A Monster In My Closet’. You can see it in the Tweet below!

Before long, fans started pointing out the similarities in her past writing and her current writing style. One person even tweeted saying: “Forget dr seuss i’m reading this to my future children.”
One person even joked, “Patiently waiting for this vault track.”
