Clothes With Fans Are Becoming The Coolest
Clothes with fans are becoming the coolest thing to add to your summer wardrobe this year. We continue to be blasted by the heat and it doesn’t look like there’s relief coming any time soon. I took 10 minutes to look for a couple of things in our outside storage closet in the garage. The entire upper half of my body was completely soaked. It looked like I just finished up about 2 hours of yard work. The heat is both unbearable and unbeatable. We’re all looking for any relief we can get! Well now, that sweet heat relief could be hanging up in your closet. Are you ready to wear clothes with built-in fans?
Right now, clothes with built-in fans are becoming very popular in Japan. A former Sony engineer came up with the idea in 2004 and called them “fan jackets.” Versions back then weren’t breathable enough and the batteries didn’t last very long. Because of advances in technology throughout the years, cooling clothes can last all day now. In fact, a power-tool company named Mikita sold their own version and sales have been up for the last several years. My first thought, when I read about this was that it sounded like something straight out of a Missy Elliott 90s music video.
It’s actually more like something out of Back To The Future II.
