It’s a common occurrence in most households. You come home after a long day at work and you just want to decompress. Sometimes, however, there are things to do after work. Maybe it’s making sure the kids have completed their homework and you check over it. The dog has been in the house all day so this might be the time it gets walked. Or, maybe on a random Tuesday, you decided to cut grass after work.
That’s what I did recently. Once I finished up and showered, it was time to cook dinner. I made the perfect pizza, sat on my couch, and had no idea what to watch. That’s when I did what I always do when I’m stumped on what to turn on; I started with Netflix.
Entertainment Weekly released a list of 20 of the best Netflix original shows dating back to 2015. Some of the shows featured include The Haunting of Hill House, The Crown, Stranger Things, and Squid Game. There are a lot of hidden gems on this list and my favorite is probably Russian Doll.
With no new content being produced right now because of the writer’s strike, these shows will definitely keep you intrigued and entertained until that gets resolved. The strike began May 1st and according to a recent report, a meeting has been requested to restart negotiations between the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers as well as the Writers Guild of America.
