Target Is Displaying A New 8-Foot Tall Halloween Decoration
Target is displaying a new eight-foot-tall Halloween decoration named Lewis! He’s a Jack-O-Lantern but don’t tell him that. Even though he’s shorter, he’s here to provide some stiff competition to the 12-foot skeleton you can find at Home Depot. I wonder what his name is. I absolutely love that we’re not only producing more Halloween decorations, but they’re coming in big and scary sizes.
How to Prepare for Halloween
I love Christmas and everything about the traditions and nostalgia that come with it every year. We all have our own which makes it even more special to us. My wife and I put out our indoor decor in the same places every year. Even though we’ve been in our house for three years, last year was the first year we actually put up outdoor lights. If it wasn’t so hot here in mid-September, I’d probably prepare for Halloween like we do Christmas.
When to Decorate for Halloween
Once the high 80-degree temperatures subside by the end of September or early October, that’s when we feel that spooky season is in the air. When it comes to magnitude, I love what Halloween decorations and displays have become but I feel like it flies by really fast. I heard a commercial the other day that said Christmas decorations are being sold now and in some stores. Too soon.
8-Foot Jack-o’-Lantern Lewis
No doubt it would be time-consuming to take down Halloween decorations on November 1st and put Christmas decorations up on the same day. That’s too soon for me but I know a lot of people that do that. Some should create interchangeable decorations. For example, the 12-foot skeleton could transform into Santa’s sleigh. Target is displaying a new eight-foot-tall Halloween decoration named Lewis. He could transform into two 4-foot reindeer. I don’t know if this could actually work but there’s a concept there.
