Dwayne Johnson gave a man a house recently and it has been my favorite story for the last couple of weeks.
The man’s name is Themba Gorimbo and he’s a 32-year-old up-and-coming UFC fighter from Zimbabwe. What he’s doing for his family and community is so inspirational. He’s providing water wells so his community can have safe drinking water, while also saving anything else he has left to bring his family over to Miami where he’s living. He sleeps on a couch in a room above where he trains. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson caught wind of Themba Gorimbo and helped him out in a very big way.
While Themba was being interviewed and talking about his story a couple of weeks ago, Dwayne Johnson surprised him and the two embraced. Themba showed him all around the gym including where he slept above the gym, explaining how he’s saving up to bring his family to Miami. The Rock let him think that he was there to say how proud he was and how much of an inspiration he is. The two continued to chat and take photos before they left for “a friend’s house” who has all of the connections in Miami. Actually, the house they were going to was Themba’s. The Rock bought it for him. Dwayne Johnson gave a man a house so he could focus on his community back in Zimbabwe and finally bring his family over. Watch the full video below!
