Wet Nose Wednesday: Meet Benji *Adopted*
Get To Know Me:
Hi, I’m Benji! I’m a 1 year old possible Wheaton Terrier mix and I weigh around 30 pounds. They may not know what mix of breed I could be but did you know the Original Benji from the movies was not only a mix of a mix BUT he was also rescued from the shelter just like I was. Unfortunately my family had allergies once they adopted me. They reached out for help and of course my foster mom jumped at the chance to bring me home.
My Perfect Fur-Ever Home:
My ideal home would be a very active family who likes my puppy energy. Not only am I the most adorable guy, but I can run circles around my foster siblings in the backyard so a fenced in yard would be much better for me. I love play time with them, we get pretty rowdy at times. That’s ok cause when it’s time to relax I’m right up on the sofa with my foster parents. They spoil me and I’m totally ok with that. I even sleep in the bed with them every night, right up on their pillow.
I get along with other dogs and I have learned when the cats aren’t in the mood for my puppy energy. I do great with kids but older kids would be better for me. I haven’t learned yet that jumping up on little people could knock them down. I’m kinda all over the place and such a silly boy.
My foster mom keeps saying how lucky my forever family will be to have me as a best friend. I’m such a love bug and I’m completely loyal to the ones I love. I might steal your socks but that’s my Love language!
