Wet Nose Wednesday: Meet Della

We are having a hard time understanding why Della hasn’t been adopted yet! She is such a great puppy, the perfect mix of breeds, loves kids and other dogs, and would be a great addition to most households.

Be still our hearts, here we have Della. Della is a 25 pound (and growing) golden/poodle/pittie mix who is a February baby and will be a puppy for quite awhile.

Della is a wonderful mix of playfulness, snuggle bug, lover of all humans and doggie pals alike. She loves to run, run, run, play hard and then come find you to get in a good nap next to your lap. She loves to love and she loves to receive the warm fuzzies as well.

She is a bit skittish when it comes to loud noises and new situations but she’s learning the world and is otherwise a great girl. Della is good around children, she does have some puppy nips but they’re gentle and cats are an unknown, although her foster parent feels like she’d just run away.

She is working on her leash and house manners but she is a smart girl and will get the hang of these things quickly. She is fine in a crate.

Della is ready to find her forever home, preferably with a fence so she can feel the wind between her ears as she runs about and some playmates whether they be human or otherwise. She is such a sweet girl with lots of energy and lots of adorable love to give.
