I truly can’t believe it’s time to start shopping for the holidays! I mean it feels like the whole summer zipped past me. I’m a planner. I try my absolute best to make sure that when the holiday shopping season rolls around I plan out the gifts I’m getting my loved ones. And that includes my pets. I have an adorable dog named Bailey and a very sassy cat named General Mittens. Yes, it is probably the best name in the world for her. Regardless, I need to make sure I buy them something for the holidays otherwise they’ll feel left out. So pet gifts are a must!

I know what you’re thinking. “What makes it a gift for them? Is it just toys?” Well, no it’s not just toys. In fact, I usually like to go the route of one toy, one treat, and one special item just for them. What makes it a gift for them though? Honestly, I think the main answer to that is that it’s something they’ll get joy out of. The items I chose for this list have that in mind.

Yes, you can absolutely grab your pet a bunch of toys for Christmas. But what about a cute new collar or bandana set? How about a place to hang their favorite leash? And yes, there will be some great toys on this list that I’m sure you and your pet will love. But I also love thinking outside of the box.
