Wet Nose Wednesday: Meet Kit
Meet Today’s Wet Nose Wednesday Pup: Kit!
Get To Know Me:
Hi, I’m Kit! I’m a 4 to 5 year old possible Pomeranian mix and I weigh around 21 pounds. I was found out at our local shelter with severe hair loss from flea allergies and I was so shut down I barely even lifted my head when people walked by my kennel. They thought I could be possibly pregnant but sadly I’ve just had multiple litters in my short life. Thanks to my foster mom and your support, I was able to get the care needed, now it’s time for me to find my forever home.
My Perfect Fur-Ever Home:
My ideal home would be an active family, who has the understanding of giving me time to adjust and to warm up. I can be very shy at first but once I feel comfortable I have the sweetest personality. I know it’s hard not to wanna smoosh my adorable face and give me lots of kisses. Just give me some time to adjust, that’s all I’m asking for! My foster mom calls me her little foxy and I love when she gives me ear scratches. I’m happiest when we are just relaxing watching tv on the sofa and cuddling in bed before bedtime. She says I deserve to be spoiled after everything I’ve been through, I think she’s right and I have enjoyed all the attention.
A home with small children may be a little scary for me but I do great around kids when needed. I get along great with other dogs and I’m even learning to play. Having toys around is all new to me but when I hear that squeaker, my tail starts to do the happy wag dance. I even get along with cats, I don’t bother them at all, we can all coexist for sure.
Having a fenced-in yard is a must, I have never been on a leash so my foster momma has been working with me slowly. I need an area to continue to work with my potty training, plus who doesn’t like sitting outside some days to catch some rays. I will use the puppy pad if needed but my foster mom has been working with me to break those habits. I’m pretty proud of myself on how quickly I’m picking up potty training and I sure love getting lots of praise for being a good girl!
If you think I could be your match my DNA family would love to hear from you. I know with the right match I will continue to grow and my personality will continue to shine. Could that be you?
