Meet Today’s Wet Nose Wednesday Pup: Doobie!
Get To Know Me:
Hi, I’m Doobie! I’m a soon to be two year old Maltipoo ( half Maltese and half poodle ) and I weigh around 15 pounds. Sadly my owner passed away and I found myself looking for a helping paw. Luckily a family member stepped up to help me, to make sure I found a rescue who could find my perfect match.
My Perfect Fur-Ever Home:
I’m looking for an active family who can handle my puppy playfulness. A family who is willing to give me lots of attention and affection. Maybe a family who works from home and/or doesn’t work to many hours. I can be a bit of a handful when I start to feel lonely. Having other dogs around my size would be pawsome. Just NO cats, I’m not sure how other dogs like them.. but I sure don’t. Older kids would be great too as long as their old enough to understand boundaries.
I love car rides and going on walks are always fun. I do enjoy playing in a fenced in back yard but I can jump over smaller fences or baby gates. You have to keep an eye out on me, I’m not meant for hanging around to long outside. I do love spending time with my family so maybe one who doesn’t mind me jumping up on the sofa for some extra cuddles. I’m also crate trained and I’m working extra hard on getting potty training down too. I’m extremely smart boy my foster mom says, lots of yummy treats, and high praise always makes me feel like the bestest boy!

“Cody” Blaine Jackson is one half of the Kicks Wake Up Krew on Kicks 99, and also serves as the Digital Program Director for Beasley Media Group in Augusta. She’s a Georgia native but currently resides just across the river in South Carolina. She started in the radio industry as a part-time board operator, and moved up through various roles, including on-air positions and program director for multiple stations.
