Wet Nose Wednesday: Meet Gracie Lou

My ideal home would be with an active family who would love a fun-loving and outgoing pup like myself. My foster mom says I’m one of the smartest girls she’s ever fostered. I learn so quickly and I really pay attention to my four-legged foster siblings. I like to follow their lead when I see them earning some yummy treats. I pick up quickly with positive reinforcement training. I’m house-trained and crate trained, and I’m not much of a barker! Having a fenced-in yard would be my ideal area for playtime. I love playing chase with my foster siblings. It’s a great way to burn off that puppy energy of mine and playtime with my outside toys.

I get along with other dogs and cats, kids are great too but they need to be old enough to understand my boundaries. I’m most definitely not a toy… I’m also a 10-plus year commitment so finding a forever home is very important to me! I might be a pretty active pup but I’m also extremely affectionate and I love being around my people. I can be very clingy and I wanna be where my people are… especially if you’re cuddled up on the sofa watching a good movie. Heck, we could even watch my favorite movie, Miss. Congeniality ( wags my tail ). I would make the perfect bestie for my new family and I’m as loyal as they come. Could you see yourself giving Miss Rhode Island a place to call home?!
