Wet Nose Wednesday: Meet Ollie *Adopted*
Meet Today’s Wet Nose Wednesday Pup: Ollie!
Get To Know Me:
Hi, I’m Ollie! I’m a soon to be one year old Shih Tzu and I weigh around 12 pounds. I came into rescue so matted I could barely get around, covered in fleas and so very dirty. That’s no way for any pup to live. Luckily for me my foster mom welcomed me into her home with open arms and gave me lots of love, and of course a nice spa day. It’s going to hurt saying goodbye but she knows my perfect home is out there waiting on me.
My Perfect Fur-Ever Home:
My ideal home would be a very active family who enjoys me being on the go… from playtime, going on walks or getting our exercise on. I’m ready for it all! I mean I am a puppy with lots of puppy energy. Having other playful pups like myself would be pawsome. As long as other dogs understand my outgoing personality I will be their besties too. I do great around kids also, maybe more on the older side so I don’t scare the little ones when I get those puppy zoomies. On that subject having a fully fenced yard would be best. I walk great on leash but I’m all about being around for a game of chase.
When it comes to time to snuggle I do give the best cuddles. Sitting on the sofa or lounging in the bed, I love it all. After a busy day of playtime it’s good to just relax with the ones I love. I might be all puppy but I’m also a very affectionate guy. I would really love a family who will continue to work with my puppy training needs. I’m doing great with potty training but I need consistency for sure. You don’t have to worry about me getting in to anything or chewing, as long as I have toys laying around. I’m to busy showing my stuff bear who’s the boss to worry about chewing up furniture.
I will need regular grooming and vet visits. If you know anything about my breed we are prone to have eye issues, like dry eye. You have to make sure I’m looking and feeling my best for years to come!
