South Carolina Woman Writes Heartbreaking Obituary For Her Dog In Local Newspaper
Anyone who has ever experienced the unconditional love of a pet knows that they truly are part of your family. On September 13th, Sallie Hammett lost a member of her family: her 7-year old Golden Retriever, Charlie.
Sallie decided to cope with the painful loss by sharing an obituary in the local Easley, South Carolina newspaper.

Sallie, I’m so deeply sorry for the loss of Charlie! It’s been 3 years since I had to put both of my labs ( Lily & Lanie ) to sleep ( 8 months of each other). Charlie was beautiful!
