There’s exciting news for Love & Hip Hop stars Erica Mena and Safaree. The married couple recently welcomed their new baby girl.
The rapper and reality TV star took to Instagram to announce the heartwarming news on Monday (Feb. 3). “These past 24 hrs have been an adventure, to say the least!!,” Safaree wrote in the caption of the photo he shared on the social media platform of his daughter holding onto his finer. “I’m a part of the #girldad club now. Perfection is here.”
“#GirlDad” began trending over the past week, following the death of NBA legend Kobe Bryant, as he proclaimed himself as a “Girl Dad,” being that he was a father to all girls. Several men have since taken to social media, sharing photographs of themselves with their daughters and using the hashtag, while encouraging other men to do the same.
“Our Rainbow Baby,” Mena wrote on Instagram on Monday, as the caption of a photo of holding onto her baby bump. The photo was a part of a pregnancy shoot that Mena did with photographer Lola Melani.
Safaree, 38, and Mena, 31, secretly tied the knot in October of 2019 in front of close family and friends.
