Actor and singer Brandy recently reunited the cast of her ’90s TV show Moesha and also confirmed a reboot of the show.
Brandy linked with her television parents, Sheryl Lee Ralph and William Allen Young at California’s Taglyan Cultural Center for the 29th annual DIVAS Simply Singing fundraiser which was hosted on World AIDS Day by Ralph, as That Grape Juice reports.
“We would like to know would you like to do a Moesha Reboot?” Ralph asked Brandy as she stood on stage in between Ralph and Allen.
“Yea, absolutely!” Brandy replied. “It would be fabulous, wouldn’t it? ” Ralph responded before Brandy said, “I’m here to solidify that we’re going to do a ‘Moesha’ reboot.”
“You heard it here first,” Ralph said.
In 2017, Brandy and the cast of Moesha appeared on an episode of The Real where they all agreed that they were interested in rebooting the show. Brandy seemed particularly interested in a reboot because she said the show ended with a cliffhanger where Moesha’s brother, Miles was kidnapped.
