Man Has Tweezers Removed From Urethra After Being Stuck for Four Years
Brace yourself, because this is a story not for the faint of heart.
U.K.’s Metro reports that a 22-year-old man had a 2.7 inch pair of tweezers removed from his urethra after being stuck for four years. The patient’s name has not been released (gee, don’t know why), but he apparently didn’t experience any pain in those four years.
So, why was a pair of tweezers in this man’s urethra in the first place? Metro isn’t sure, but they point out the act of “sounding,” which is where a man puts items in their penis while masturbating. Some of us are likely filing this definition under “The More You Know.”
As for the patient, he was only put under general anesthetic while the tweezers were wiggled out with the help of forceps. He also refused the recommended psychiatric evaluation and “did not follow up with the outpatient department.” Once again, don’t know why he would opt out of that, but let this be a lesson for everyone that tweezers should never, ever be near or around your urethra.
