The Backstreet Boys know they’re not as young as they used to be—and they’re totally okay with that! These days, their backstage habits look a little different from their early years. In a recent chat with PEOPLE, the famous pop group—Nick Carter, AJ McLean, Kevin Richardson, Brian Littrell, and Howie Dorough—shared what their post-show routine looks like now that they’re an "older" band handling "intense" performances.

"We are not that old, but still our bodies take a little bit more of a beating these days," McLean admitted. "After a show, you might do a cold plunge, you might go get a massage, you might get adjustments."

One thing that hasn’t changed? Their tradition of praying together. "We still pray," Carter noted, and McLean added, "We always have a group prayer, whether it's just us five or it's us and our crew and our security, our team and management."

As for their backstage snacks? McLean says their requests haven't changed much over the years. "We've still got PB and J," he shared. "I swear we're a bunch of 5-year-olds back there. But there's a lot more organic things backstage, a lot more healthy options. Sometimes, we'll have certain gym equipment out there on the road."

And while their younger selves might have hit the clubs after a show, that’s no longer the case. "We don't hit the clubs anymore," Richardson quipped, before McLean joked, "No, we went from bottle service in the clubs to baby bottle service."

Up next for the Backstreet Boys? A return to Las Vegas! In January, they announced their residency at the Sphere, called Into the Millennium, with shows happening in July and August.
