Cardi B apparently had to cancel a scheduled performance in Indianapolis, Indiana, yesterday (July 30) due to a “security threat.”

On Tuesday, the Bronx rapper took to Instagram to inform her fans about the situation.

“Dear Indiana I just want to let you know I was in the venue today. I rehearsed and started doing glam,” she wrote.

“Due to a security threat that is under investigation, the show was canceled. My safety and your safety first.”

The “Press” rapper then expressed her appreciation for the promoters of the show.

“I want to thank the promoters we have already rescheduled the show,” Cardi continued.

“I’m so sorry guys I never dealt with a situation like this before and I’m not taking any chances. I love you guys.”

Kevin Gates and Saweetie were also on the bill. In Cardi B’s post, she shared a short video from soundcheck as well as an official update from the promoters.

“Due to a security threat and safety concerns at this evening’s show, management has advised that this show be postponed. These threats are currently under investigation,” the flier read.

Bankers Life Field House, where the concert was supposed to take place, released a statement saying that the show would be rescheduled for September 11, and all tickets for the original date would be honored.
