Get To Know Me:
Hi, I’m Roscoe! I’m a 5 year old possible wirehaired terrier mix and I weigh around 12 pounds. You may remember me from a few weeks back, the little guy shaking in the back of his crate for days. Losing the only family I knew was extremely difficult for me and it took lots of patience from my foster family. Finally I’m ready to find my furever home and I’m ready to be spoiled with lots of attention.
My Perfect Fur-Ever Home:
My ideal home would be an active one who can work with me on my trust issues. I’m still a little shy at times… you can’t just pick me up. You have to sit down and let me come to you. Once I find my way to you, I promise to cover you in kisses and be your little shadow. My favorite place to hang out is on the back of the sofa, taking cat naps. I can watch over the household and make sure everyone can see how adorable I am.
A fenced in yard would be great since I’m still working on house training. My foster mom says I do great with puppy pads but she’s working on breaking those habits too. I get along with other dogs, cats and older children (7 years or older). I sleep with my two-legged foster sisters every night, it makes me feel secure and part of the family. I’m also learning to play, allowing my playful side to come out and getting the zoomies. I’ve learned all about tennis balls so playing fetch is a must!
I will also need regular grooming appointments once my fur grows back. I was so matted coming into rescue, they had to shave me completely down. My foster mom says I’m one handsome guy, no matter the style I’m groomed. Just look at my cuteness… how can you not wanna adopt me?
