Waka Flocka Shares Why He Doesn’t Believe In a Prenup
Waka Flocka and his wife Tammy Rivera have been on a press tour regarding their new reality show on WE TV called Waka & Tammy: What The Flocka.
During a recent interview, Waka talked about why he doesn’t believe in a prenup. The interview brought up the fact that Kobe and Vanessa Bryant didn’t have a prenup.
Waka’s response to that was, “They shouldn’t have. Why should you?” The interviewer said that if a woman had more money than her man, she should get a prenup.
Waka interrupted the interview and began to explain his point of view. “You know what that is right? For me right, love doesn’t stand on the same pedestal as money. And money could never stand on the same pedestal as love,” Waka said.
“If you love a person it shouldn’t be money. It shouldn’t be sick. It shouldn’t be fat. No color. No shape. Nothing. For me, If I marry you and I’m a rich guy, you’re rich too.”
“But I’m supposed to be the man that makes your spirit rich. That’s what’s wrong with couples. People look at the money and don’t pay attention to the spirit,” Waka continued.
“That’s a big difference. I can make my wife’s spirit so rich to the point where she’ll be richer than me financially.” Waka received a “Round of Applause” from the interviewers after sharing his perspective.
