Katy Perry Is Next To Get Sued For Posting A Photo Of Herself
Katy Perry is the latest celebrity to be sued for posting paparazzi pictures of herself. She is being sued by an agency for $150,000 because they own the rights to the photo she used.
According to E! News, the photo in question is of Katy and a friend dressed as Hilary Clinton and Bill Clinton from 2016. The picture is still on her Instagram page.
The agency explained their reasoning for suing, saying that, “Perry violated federal law by posting the photo.” They also say they had “corresponded with Perry’s reps about her ‘infringement’ multiple times from 2017 to the beginning of this month, and that they failed to pay the agency to license the photo.”
Other celebrities who have gotten in trouble for this same issue include Jennifer Lopez, Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, and Gigi Hadid.
