6 Fun Things To Do Masters Week In Augusta
It’s almost time for the most exciting time of the year in Augusta. The world will watch as the greatest golfers tee off at The Masters. If you’re lucky enough to attend, you will never forget it. I’ve been a few times and never take it for granted. The course is unbelievably beautiful.
Masters Week Must Haves
Many patrons first stop at the golf shop and buy a few hats or shirts before heading to the course. If you don’t want to carry a bag all day after your shopping trip, you can also have your items shipped to your home after buying them, which is very convenient. The next stop is one of the concession stands, where you can order something to eat. My favorites are the pimento cheese sandwich, egg salad, and a Masters cookie. There’s nothing like Masters Week in Augusta.
Ceremonial First Tee Shots at Augusta
This year, I’ll arrive early on Thursday and can’t wait to watch the ceremonial first tee shots by a few legends of the game. This year, the tournament is April 11th through the 14th, with Monday and Tuesday, April 8th and 9th being the practice rounds, and Wednesday, April 10th, featuring some of the best golfers in the world playing the beautiful par 3 course. This always turns into a family affair as the golfers enjoy this laid-back, fun day before the tournament begins on Thursday.
You will probably have some downtime a few times during the week and want to explore their area. Here are 6 fun things to do during Masters Week in Augusta.
