Cardi B And Megan Thee Stallion’s ‘WAP’ Grammy Performance Draws Tons Of FCC Complaints
It appears as if Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s “WAP” performance was a little too hot for some folks to handle. TMZ reports that the FCC has gotten several complaints about it.
Among the many amusing complaints received, some include people saying things like the pair danced “as if they were dancing in a strip club,” their outfits were “absolutely disgusting,” Megan was “barely dressed in a thong with naked look-alike legs,” and “Why was that performance okay but Pepe Le Pew is offensive?” One person even wondered why Dr. Seuss was banned when Cardi B can “sing about her [WAP] on national television.”
The outlet states that so far, there are over 80 complaints. That’s nothing compared to the over half a million that Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson’s Super Bowl performance received.
