**UPDATE: Dottie Has Been Adopted!** Virtual Wet Nose Wednesday: Meet Dottie!
We miss our friends (and furry friends) from the SPCA Albrecht Center for Animal Welfare in Aiken so much and want to remind you that there are still amazing animals that need loving homes!
The amazing SCPA Albrecht Center provided us with this info about 1 year old, mixed breed Dottie:
“Sweet, athletic Dottie came to the SPCA Albrecht Center as a transfer from an overcrowded South Carolina shelter. Now, she’s looking for someone in the CSRA to give her some love! Dottie loves the great outdoors, playing with tennis balls, going for walks and then finding a comfy spot on the bed next to you to finish off the day.
Dottie’s ideal home is one without small children (under the age of 5) or cats, but she has been known to make doggie friends. Our staff is happy to do a meet & greet with Dottie and any current household’s pets to make sure they’ll be fur-ever friends.
Dottie’s adoption fee is currently $0!
Updated adoption hours to limit foot traffic:
Monday – Saturday from 11 am to 3 pm.
199 Willow Run Road, Aiken, SC 29801
To keep our staff safe & health, and, thus, our animals safe & healthy, we ask that supporters do not visit the shelter animals at this time. ONLY serious adopters and volunteers are allowed in the Adoption Center. Not sure if you want to adopt?
