**UPDATE: Monty Has Been Adopted!** Virtual Wet Nose Wednesday: Meet Monty!
We miss our friends (and furry friends) from the SPCA Albrecht Center for Animal Welfare in Aiken so much and want to remind you that there are still amazing animals that need loving homes!
The amazing SCPA Albrecht Center provided us with this info about 5 year old, mixed breed, Monty:
” Monty came to the SPCA Albrecht Center last year during the hurricane season from a coastal shelter. He hadn’t yet found his forever home when he started getting recurring eye infections in his left eye. The SPCA’s Veterinary Care Center decided it would be best to remove his left eye to avoid any future health issues. It took quite some time for Monty to heal, but now he’s back and better than ever! All he needs is his forever person.
Monty LOVES tennis balls, playing in the park, swimming & lounging in the pool, rolling in the grass, going on walks, and cuddling on the couch with his person.
Monty’s ideal home is one without small children (under the age of 5) or cats, but he has been known to make doggie friends!
Updated adoption hours to limit foot traffic: Monday – Saturday from 11 am to 3 pm.
199 Willow Run Road, Aiken, SC 29801
To keep our staff safe & health, and, thus, our animals safe & healthy, we ask that supporters do not visit the shelter animals at this time. ONLY serious adopters and volunteers are allowed in the Adoption Center. Not sure if you want to adopt? Check out the SPCA Albrecht Center’s virtual cat and dog adoption videos here! “
