Ariana Grande Performs ‘Boyfriend’ Live For The First Time At Lollapalooza
After asking her crush to break up with his girlfriend because she’s bored, Ariana Grande is now singing about another complicated relationship on her new single “Boyfriend.” Over the weekend, fans were able to see Grande perform “Boyfriend” live for the first time at Lollapalooza.
After dropping her stylish “Boyfriend” video on Friday (Aug. 2), Grande debuted the song live during her headlining set. Thanks to YouTube user Hailey Kopf, fans who weren’t in Chicago’s Grant Park last night get a chance to see it, too.
“That awkward moment when you get him to break up with his girlfriend and he still doesn’t want a girlfriend,” Grande joked before launching into the song midway through her set. Joined by Social House, her current tourmates, she kept things fun and flirty. No surprise, her fans loved it.
Lollapalooza acted as Grande’s last date of the current leg of her Sweetener world tour. She heads overseas later this month to kick off the European stint of her tour.
