Nicki Minaj Never Signed On For Chris Brown’s Tour
Nicki Minaj wasn’t dropped from Chris Brown’s tour. The “Super Bass” rapper just never signed on.
On Monday, following Chris Brown’s official announcement of the IndiGOAT tour that’s set to kick off this summer, fans of the rapper freaked out because she was nowhere to be found in the lineup. The lineup included Tory Lanez, Ty Dolla $ign, and other big names, sans Minaj.

A few months ago, it was reported that Chris Brown and Nicki Minaj were going to trek the nation together in the fall, and Brown seemed to confirm the news by responding on Instagram with a written story that read, “The tour will not be in the fall! It is in the summer! This summer.” He never refuted the idea of Nicki Minaj touring with him, only the fact that the tour was reportedly happening in the fall.
According to TMZ, a source claimed that Nicki Minaj never signed on to Chris Brown’s tour in any capacity. The two collaborators did talk about touring together after collaborating on their G-Eazy assisted single “Wobble Up,” but the discussion never materialized into an actual deal.
TMZ was told that Minaj decided the tour wasn’t for her because she’s currently working on new music and a tour would have interfered with the rapper’s studio time. Minaj also just wrapped her European tour.
