‘Til the Cows Come Home 5k
The 5th Annual ‘Til the Cows Come Home 5k is a family-friendly event. All proceeds benefit Christ Community Health Services Augusta. By participating, you’re helping provide health care and physical therapy services to our neighbors in need.
Located at beautiful Steed’s Dairy Farm, you’ll find yourself running through rolling hills, blue skies, and a nice evening breeze. This trail run is both fun and challenging with sections of hill running. Come out for a great evening of fun and exercise.
Event details and schedule
Race begins at 7:00pm. All packets (which includes your bib and chip timer) must be picked up by 6:30pm race day.
Registration Deadlines/Prices:
Registration February 1, 2018 through April 06, 2018 is $25.
Registration April 07-April 13 is $30. Online registration closes April 13, 2018.
On-site registration is $30 and will take place from 5:30pm-6:30pm.
Register online by April 06, 2018 to be guaranteed a t-shirt.
Water Station
There will be a water station at the half-way point.
Post-Race Snacks
Stick around after the race to enjoy post-race snacks.
More about the course:
The first half of the course is a winding trail primarily in a wooded area with several downhill sections. The second half of the course is in the open fields and pastures with several uphill sections.
Sunglasses or hats encouraged.
Is the course stroller friendly?
While you are welcome to bring your little one in a stroller, we recommend a stroller specifically designed for running/jogging. The wooded area makes for a bumpy ride.
Can I bring my dog?
We ask that you do not bring any pets to the course.
Packet pick-up:
Early packet pick-up will take place at Fleet Feet (229 Fury’s Ferry Rd, Augusta, GA) Thursday, April 19 from 4:30pm-6:30pm.
You can also pick up your packet on race day at Steeds Dairy Farm between 5:30pm-6:30pm
