Police Say Nelly’s Rape Case Is Still Open
Police in Washington State are still investigating after Nelly was accused of rape the weekend before last.
The news comes even after the accuser said she no longer wanted to press charges against the rapper.
According to TMZ, authorities will follow through with the case and plan to present their findings to the prosecutor’s office in the very near future.
Furthermore, if enough evidence is presented that supports the rape claim, Nelly could still be charged.
Meanwhile, Nelly’s lawyer maintains his client is innocent and is fully confident the case will be dismissed once all the facts have been presented.
