Play Ball – Augusta Hosts Community Initiative
According to a press release sent by the Office of the Mayor of Augusta, Mayor Hardie Davis and Masters City Little League will host Play Ball next week. This is an initiative with the U.S. Conference of Mayors and Major League Baseball. The event will be Thursday, July 21, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Masters City Little League fields at 1951 Phinizy Road in Augusta.
Play Ball was created in 2010 to encourage young people and communities to get involved in baseball or softball. It allows the children to connect with their city, as well as their friends, in a healthy, positive way.
This a free event open to the public. Registration is available through Eventbrite HERE.
