Georgia and South Carolina Rank Top States Obsessed with Their Phones
Georgia and South Carolina residents, a new study has revealed that y’all are obsessed with your phones!
A sleep expert from Amerisleep conducted the study. Amerisleep is a mattress company that sells American-made memory foam and hybrid mattresses.
Each state was analyzed by its average monthly searches for 3,200 terms, such as “battery overheating” or other phone related issues. Which ultimately leads to the phone with the most issues and as a result of frequent use of the device.
Out of the top 15 states that spend the most time on their phone, Georgia ranks number 3. Georgia has 442.54 average monthly searches per 100,000 population.
South Carolina is a little on down the ranking list coming in number 13. South Carolina has 338.74 average monthly searches per 100,000 population.
Coming in at 1st place as the most phone-obsessed state is Nevada. Their average number of searches each month is 5,550.74. Nevada has a population of 3, 177,772, which means 462.56 average monthly searches per 100,00 of the population.
In second place is Louisiana with 455.40 average monthly searches per 100,000 population.
