One celebrity just revealed her take on Karaoke skills and she is absolutely right. Karaoke is a pop culture staple. If you’re a fan of music, you should absolutely be brave enough to step up on a stage and sing your favorite song as badly as you want and as often as you want. The few restaurants in the area I’ve been to in the area for Karaoke usually involved a couple of beers or margaritas. A little bit of liquid courage can really get you where you need to be when you decide to embarrass yourself in front of strangers. All in all, it makes for a fun night with friends. You stepped out of your comfort zone. However, is there such a thing as being good at Karaoke? One celebrity just revealed her take on Karaoke skills and she is absolutely right.
If you don’t have a golden voice to the likes of Adele or Ariana Grande, that’s okay. When you participate in a Karaoke night, leave no word unsung. The world needs to know your favorite jams and how loud and terrible you sing them when you’re in the car alone. It’s your spotlight so shine bright it in. Unless, of course, you can actually sing very well and you’re the one going up there every 5 songs just to rub it in the faces of everyone else who can’t sing. I’ve always believed that if a person can actually sing, and frequents Karaoke nights, well then that’s just singing. They can actually do that at a local theatre or Church weekly. They’re a singer. They know their range and they usually only choose the songs with the notes that they know they can hit.
I randomly came across Olivia Wilde expressing her views on Karaoke and I couldn’t agree more.
