Drug Bust in South Carolina Near Georgia Border
According to WSB-TV, a woman was recently arrested for trafficking cocaine. The drug bust happened in South Carolina near the Georgia border. On March 15, the woman was pulled over for a traffic stop on I-85 in Anderson County, South Carolina.
The Anderson County deputies say this is one of the biggest drug busts in the county’s history. The driver, Marina Natanova, was driving an SUV when she was pulled over for failure to maintain a lane.
In the backseat of her vehicle, deputies found duffle bags full of cocaine. Inside the duffle bags, deputies found 40 vacuum-sealed packages, weighing in at 108 pounds.
Natanova is charged with trafficking cocaine in addition to failing to maintain a lane. She was taken into custody at Anderson County Detention Center.
