Georgia: Here Was Our Most Popular Football Beverage This Season
At the end of a long and memorable NFL season, we tend to reflect upon the highs and lows of what our favorite team accomplished (or didn’t) this year. Restaurant management software company Toast recently published detailed information on the food and drink highlights for the 2023 NFL season. In Atlanta, the alcoholic beverage of choice that Falcons fans grabbed for most during football games was liquor.
Mashed broke down alcohol’s popularity with football fans even further. Ahead of the big game, they specifically detailed which alcohol got the overall biggest boost for NFL Sundays. The answer was that hard seltzer saw the biggest increase by far. Mashed said, “Hard seltzer was the most popular drink to sip on during a game; the beverage saw a whopping 47% increase in consumption on football Sundays compared to Sundays during the rest of the year.”
Atlanta Football Fans Often Ordered Liquor As Their Beverage Choice
Liquor popularity was up 35% in Atlanta this NFL season as the top beverage of choice. Liquor was the second most ordered. Wine then rounds out the top three alcoholic drinks of choice to accompany NFL games for Atlanta football fans this season.
In addition, Toast detailed similar information on the food choices. Atlanta football viewers also downed a lot of hot dogs this season. Per Toast data, hot dog orders increased an astounding 141%. As a result, this was the top food item.
To compile this information, Toast studied data through their point-of-sale software system. Specifically, they analyzed the order differences per item on NFL Sundays through mid-December. The restaurant industry saw alcohol orders up 6% this football season.
The upcoming Super Bowl is obviously another major impactful day when it comes to the food and beverage industry. It’s fair to say your food and drink choices to accompany your game festivities are crucial decisions. The joy of not having your team in the Super Bowl is that Atlanta fans can order a plate of hot dogs, pour a glass of your favorite liquor, and just enjoy the game.
Georgia Destination Named A Best Tiny House Hotel
A recent report by Shermans Travel detailed the 10 best Tiny House hotels in America, and a Georgia destination made the list. “Tiny homes are one of the hottest residential design trends right now,” they explain.
In addition, Realtor.com published a story last year that gave readers a glimpse of what exactly is going on with the Tiny House trend in America. But what is a Tiny House? Typically, they are 100 to 400 square feet. Many of them (though not a requirement) are situated in quieter areas. It is very common to find tiny home communities tucked within nature, in a peaceful and serene setting.
Other common attributes include creative ways to establish storage space and loft beds. They are often energy-efficient simply due to the smaller footprint requiring less utility power.
“If you’re considering the tiny-home lifestyle, take it for a test drive before you hire a builder and go all-in,” Realtor explained. That is another reason why having such Tiny House hotel options is helpful. It gives those who are interested a chance to try it out.
Live A Little Chatt – Rising Fawn, Georgia
Located just 30 miles outside Chattanooga, Live A Little Chatt has three Tiny Houses on the property to stay at. “It’s evident that each was built with love and intention,” Shermans Travel explains. The Old Blue Chair house accommodates up to five guests, while the Shangri-Little and Wandering Gypsy can sleep three people.
Visitors to Rising Fawn Georgia are in close proximity to Cloudland Canyon State Park. That’s where you will find hiking trails and two waterfalls. However, there is also nothing wrong with staying on the hotel grounds to embrace the simple environment around you to unwind fully.
Each of the three options at this Georgia destination that was named in the list of best Tiny House hotels is uniquely different from each other. “We strive to give you the place to find your bliss and live deliberately.” Live A Little Chatt says.
