Man Wanted for Questioning in Stolen Credit Card Fraud
The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man they want to question about a credit card that was recently stolen from a car. The card was then used multiple times in the area.
The incident was reported November 4 at the Wilson Family Y on Wheeler Road. Investigators say someone entered the car to commit a theft. A credit card that was taken from the vehicle was used 13 times to make over $4,500 worth of purchases at several businesses in Augusta. The suspect was last seen leaving in a dark four-door vehicle.
