Evans CrossFit Owner Turned in By His Wife Over Alleged Teen Molestation

The owner of a CrossFit gym was charged Monday for molesting a 15-year-old girl.

According to an incident report from the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, 36-year-old Scott Paige, was turned in by his wife, Lauren Paige, after she discovered the relationship between her husband and the teenage girl.

His wife told the authorities he admitted to kissing and having oral sex with the girl back in January. According to the sheriff’s report, Paige stated he was going to end it to work on their marriage and not go to jail.”

Paige and his wife own the Bare CrossFit together in Evans. The wife told the sheriffs that he would often drive the girl back and forth to the gym. Paige’s wife told the deputies when she came home early last Thursday she saw a pregnancy test box and two used tests on their kitchen counter.

He is now being held in the Columbia County Detention Center with no bond.
