CSRA News: South Carolina Officer Killed in the Line of Duty
A Cayce, South Carolina police officer was killed in the line of duty early Sunday morning.
Officers responded to a domestic disturbance just before 3:00 a.m. Authorities say Officer Drew Barr and two others were talking to a man in the front yard when shots were fired from the house. Barr was struck and killed. The shooter then reportedly turned the gun on himself. The 28 year old Barr, who had been with the Cayce Police Department since 2016, was also a volunteer firefighters in Monetta.
