CSRA News: Augusta Woman Shot at Circle K
An Augusta woman was shot and killed while arguing with another female in the parking lot of the Circle-K convenience store in the 1700 block of Walton Way late last night.
The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office says 52 year old Jenefer Herron was shot at least one time and was pronounced dead at Augusta University Medical Center. Investigators say 33 year old Yelena Buckner fled from the scene in a gray SUV and was found earlier this morning. Buckner was taken into custody and charged with murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
