CSRA News: Upcoming Road Closures in Columbia County
Coming up next week, there will be a few temporary lane and road closures in Columbia County.
Closure on Furys Ferry
The County, along with ER Snell, are alerting the public of temporary lane closures on Furys Ferry Road. They are removing the curb and gutter in both the northbound and south bound lanes. This is between Blackstone Camp Road and Evans to Locks Road. Lane closures will happen between 9 a.m. and 3 pm. Monday, March 21, 2022 through Friday, March 25, 2022.
Closure on Lakeside Drive
Columbia County Roads & Bridges Department will be closing the road for utilities repair at 7350 Lakeside Drive. Closure will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, March 21, 2022. Expect delays and seek an alternate route if possible.
Through traffic will not be allowed on this part of Lakeside Drive, and a detour route will be posted.
As always, when approaching work zones: slow down, leave distance between vehicles, watch for advanced warning signs, obey road crew flaggers and expect the unexpected.
