Rare Photo Shared of Gigi Hadid and Zayn’s Baby Girl Khai
Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik’s daughter, Khai, turned a year old yesterday (September 19) and grandma Hadid celebrated the milestone by sharing some photos of the toddler.
Yolanda Hadid posted photos on her Instagram of her with her granddaughter in a series of photos from her farm. Khai’s face is never shown directly, as her back was to the camera in the carefully selected photos, but she can be seen feeding, petting and riding furry friends with her grandma holding on to her.
“Happy first birthday to our Angel Khai,” read Yolanda’s caption. “No words can express how much love and joy you have brought into our lives in just one year… I had to grow a whole other heart to absorb it all, you are such a magical little being that brings us smiles and blessings everyday.

Earlier this year, Yolanda shared another photo of Khai in front of her crystal writing, “Morning meditation with Oma…… #Khai”
Supermodel Gigi, 26, has recently spoken out to the media for not wanting photos posted of her daughter online. In July, she posted an open letter on Twitter as an effort so that Khai may have a chance to “live as normal of a childhood as possible, without worrying about a public image that she has not chosen.”
She added, “It would mean the world to us, as we take our daughter to see and explore NYC and the world, if you would PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE blur her face out of the images, if and when she is caught on camera,” the new mom said, realizing it is an extra effort for the publications, but is hopeful that this can continue to be a conversation “to protect minors in the media, even if they come from a public family.”
