‘The Bachelor’ Peter Weber’s Sweet ‘Thank You’ Note Will Give You All The Feels
The newest Bachelor is about to begin his rose-filled journey to finding love, but first, he’d like to say thank you. Peter Weber, a.k.a. Pilot Pete is paying tribute to all 30 of the female contestants on his season.
“To every single woman that shows up tonight,” Weber wrote on Instagram, “thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking a chance on me. Through every high and every low, I had the time of my life getting to know you all and made memories I will cherish forever.”
One of those lows included Weber getting injured in a “freak accident.” Back in October, Bachelor host Chris Harrison confirmed that Weber had been injured while filming in Costa Rica. “He got a cut on his head, he did get stitches but he’s 100% OK and production is already back underway,” Harrison wrote on Instagram. “He’s still the dashing, handsome pilot we’ve all dreamed of.”
Still, he wrote that he could feel the love and support from Bachelor Nation throughout the filming. ” I have felt the love non stop and it means so much that you have invested in me finding what I’m after,” he wrote.
And while it might be a bumpy ride, Weber is excited for fans to finally see how it all ends. “I hope you all enjoy the flight,” he wrote, “we’re cleared for takeoff.”
The Bachelor premieres tonight on ABC.
