Donald Glover Will Get His Own Movie For ‘Lando Calrissian’
Honestly, it may have been better to START there instead of ‘Solo.’
You have to admit, people are extremely apprehensive that this ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ is going to be good. Mostly because we honestly would rather watch Harrison Ford pretend that he’s in his 20’s at 70+ years old. We’re so in love with that version of the character, it’s almost hard to accept anyone in the role, even in Alden Ehrenreich.
But the good news? Donald Glover, who seems to be really embodying the role of Lando Calrissian, has just been awarded the knowledge of a spin-off for his own character.
According to XXL, Kathleen Kennedy shared that the studio would be targeting Lando as the next movie. “We think that the next spin-off will be dedicated to Lando Calrissian. Of course, there are still many stories to tell about Han and Chewbacca, but Lando will be next.”
Many fans are wishing for a Boba Fett movie, or at the very least, the stopping of useless characters like Porgs. But we’ll see what we get!
