Last week, the co-writer of Marvin Gaye's hit, "Let's Get It On" took Ed to court. He claimed that Ed basically stole every part of that song for his single, "Thinking Out Loud." For a full week, Ed Sheeran had to explain every single little detail that went into writing it. Everything from the thought that created it to actually performing it live in the courtroom numerous times. After several exhausting days of explaining how he wrote one of his biggest hits to date, the judge ruled in favor of Ed Sheeran. It was also a big win for the music industry and all artists. He was facing a lawsuit of Copyright Infringement for his single 'Thinking Out Loud.' The co-writer of Marvin Gaye's single, "Let's Get It On", filed the lawsuit claiming Ed Sheeran's single was too much of the same song.
