Vegan Donut Shop In Augusta Bids Farewell After 3 Years Of Business
A Vegan Donut shop in Augusta, Haute Doughnuts, announced via Facebook that they will be closing down the shop, after being in business for three years.
“We’ve decided to discontinue to decide to focus on family and new opportunities.”
The business started as a home-based shop, operated by Jeremy and Cara Miller. The Millers are both vegan after converting back in 2014.
They had realized how scarce vegan food and sweets were here in the CSRA and wanted to take that risk and bring something new to the area. In 2019, they started to experiment and after many trials and errors, Haute was born.
There has been no word on customers getting one last order in – as many were looking forward to the October menu.
