The Atlanta Braves clinched their sixth straight National League East title Wednesday night. They beat the Philadelphia Phillies 4 to 1 behind Spencer Strider’s major league-leading 17th win and Austin Riley’s two-run homer.
The team’s front office announced today that single-game tickets for potential National League Division Series and National League Championship Series games at Truist Park will go on sale to the general public next Friday, September 22, starting at 10 am.
All Premium Club Members and A-List Members will have early access. The presale will start the day before at 10 am. Anyone who signs up for the Braves Insider Newsletter at Braves.com/Postseason by 11:59 pm on September 20 will get a code to participate in a presale on September 21 at 12 pm.
Tickets will be limited. Fans are encouraged to sign up for the Braves Insider Newsletter to be able to take advantage of the presale. Eligible presales will be limited to the seven states that make up Braves Country including Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, South Carolina, North Carolina and Tennessee. Single-game postseason tickets will also be available on SeatGeek, the official fan-to-fan ticket marketplace of the Braves.
Braves officials say they will start the postseason at home October 7 against a wild card round winner. The regular season ends with a six-game home stand that ends October 1. The Braves will get five days off to rest.
They also warn fans that getting postseason tickets might not be easy. The team sold out 47 of their 72 home games this season.
The Braves are currently fifth in Major League Baseball in average home attendance. They averaged 39,323 fans through 72 home games this year, trailing only the Dodgers, Yankees, Padres and Cardinals.

14 of the Best Photos from the 2022 Atlanta Braves Season
The defending World Series champion Atlanta Braves are back in the playoffs, after winning the National League East title once again this week.
And this was a season for the ages, as the Braves looked like they were done in June, and had no shot of defending their crown.
But a remarkable surge to close the season – coupled with a nice collapse from the New York Mets – helped pave the way for the fifth consecutive division title.
“I’ve been lucky to have been part of a lot of special seasons, and this is by far my favorite,” Braves reliever A.J. Minter said. “I know how hard it is to win and what we did this year is just the most impressive thing we’ve done.”
The Mets had a 10 1/2 game lead in the division at the start of June, but the Braves stayed resilient.
“They’re are all special and they’re all hard,” Braves manager Brian Snitker said. “This one is right up there, because there was a team that wanted to run away with it. [The players] didn’t get caught up in that we were behind. I told them at one time, ‘It’s not about catching the Mets, it’s about us playing our brand of baseball'”
The Braves will enter the postseason as the No. 2 seed in the National League, behind the top-seeded Los Angeles Dodgers. In the new playoff format, the Braves have the first round off, and will face the winner of the series between the Philadelphia Phillies and St. Louis Cardinals.
