How Much Does Nick Cannon, Father of 12, Pay for Child Support?
Nick Cannon, soon to be a father of his 12th child (with Alyssa Scott), revealed how much he pays annually for child support. Following a report from The Sun that claimed he “nearly paid $3 million a year in child support,” Cannon, 42, revealed that the number is actually much higher.
“I definitely spend a lot more than [$3 million] on my children annually,” the Masked Singer host told The Neighborhood Talk on Friday (November 11) “I don’t plan to ever have to participate in the governmental system of child.”
The next day, Cannon announced the birth of his eleventh child, his third with Abbey De La Rosa (they share twins Zion and Zillion, 17 months). He wrote on Instagram to De La Rosa and his new baby girl, Zeppelin Cannon: “Mommy @hiabbydelarosa I love you! You make it ALL look so easy and effortless but I am forever indebted to your tireless work of constant dedication, diligent effort and selfless love that you give to our children and myself. Beautiful is privileged to have such a Loving and Spiritually inclined Mother. Your resilience and strength doesn’t go unnoticed. Watching you smile through the world’s madness and my constant craziness is so impressive. Not a day goes by that I am not filled with gratitude for all your care, words of affirmation, kindness and inspiration. Thank you!! If I don’t say it enough! You are the definition of steadfast and virtuous and it is my continued duty to make you and our children feel valued and protected every single day! BEAUTIFUL ZEPPELIN aka BZC aka BIZZY B! Cannon first became a father in 2011, welcoming twins Moroccan and Monroe with ex-wife Mariah Carey. He went on to welcome son Golden, born in 2017, daughter Powerful, born in 2020, and son Rise, born in September, with Brittany Bell. De La Rosa and the California native welcomed their twins Zillion in June 2021, the same month he welcomed Zen, who sadly died seven months later, with Alyssa Scott. Cannon also shares son Legendary, born in July, with Bre Tiesi and daughter Onyx, born in September, with LaNisha Cole. Additionally, Scott, 29, announced last month that she is pregnant with the pair’s second child.
