Jameela Jamil Slams Kim Kardashian’s Body Makeup
Jameela Jamil isn’t here for women spending their money on body foundations, like Kim Kardashian’s much-hyped leg makeup.
The Good Place actress took to her social media to encourage women to embrace themselves exactly as they are, rather than focus on covering up their scars, veins or imperfections with body makeup.
“Hard pass,” she wrote in response to KKW Beauty’s tweet about the product, which debuted last week. “God damn the work to take it all off before bed so it doesn’t destroy your sheets… I’d rather just make peace with my million stretch marks and eczema. Taking off my mascara is enough of a pain in the arse. Save money and time and give yourself a damn break.”

From there, she made a second post on her Instagram about her own struggle with eczema and scars, revealing that she has no interest in covering them up.
“Seeing more and more companies sell *always marketing just at women* make up that is for your body, to cover all your ‘flaws,'” she wrote. “This is a nightmare for your clothes, furniture, bedsheets, bank account, especially if you are tall or curvy, as you need so much extra, it’s time consuming to put on and take off.”
No response from KKW Beauty’s official company or from Kardashian herself.
