Some people don’t believe in ghosts and until this last year or so I was also a non-believer. My wife and I bought our house in April 2020. Friday the 13th to be exact. Like most people, we scrubbed that house wall to wall and ceiling to ceiling. No room was left in the condition from when we found it. Of course, there was curiosity if we’d find anything in a weird space that was left behind. Alas, the previous owners left nothing. We’re also pretty sure the older woman living in our house passed away before we moved in. And then one day, she showed up in our master bedroom closet.
One summer afternoon I was grabbing a hat from the top shelf in the master bedroom closet. As I was reaching for it I noticed something tucked away into the corner. This felt odd because every room was deep cleaned. In the photo, was an old woman sitting in a chair. The lone chair was used for staging when we were looking at the house. There was something so ominous about it. My wife and I felt a little creeped out. Almost as if the elder woman may have passed in our house. After feeling a little haunted, we dug a six-inch hole next to the rose bush. This is where we would lay the photo to rest. Three weeks later that photo resurfaced under the rose bush.
