When it comes to celebrities and their busy lifestyles, you may wonder how they manage to stay in shape.  Of course, most of them have trainers who tailor workouts just for them, but not all of them are on strict diets!  Take for example, Camila Cabello.  She may workout a lot, but Camila Cabello’s healthy eating habits are a BIG part of it too!

There’s no doubt Camila Cabello is a busy woman.  She’s got her music career, and then add that with her latest gig. It was recently announced Camila will be a new coach for The Voice! She will be replacing Kelly Clarkson on the show.

It doesn’t take much to see that Camila Cabello takes care of her body.  Just check out a few posts on Instagram, and you’ll see posts about her workouts with her celebrity trainer. As someone who also loves fitness, I’m definitely intrigued to learn about celebrities and their workouts, and eating habits, because we all know it takes more than just good workouts to keep your body in great shape.

For someone who stays busy like Camila, healthy eating habits are important for feeling her best and keeping her energy up.  You might be surprised, but dieting is NOT on the list of healthy eating for Camila! Which is something I LOVE!  I think the more we restrict ourselves, the harder it is to stick to a healthy eating plan.  For me, I prefer watching portion sizes, drinking tons of water and enjoying my favorite things in moderation.

  • No Dieting!

    Even Camila Cabello’s trainer highlights how crash diets and overdoing it with workouts can be a bad combination! Cabello focuses on healthy, balanced meals. Intense dieting just didn’t work!

  • Intuitive Eating

    What’s “intuitive eating?” Just what it sounds like… Camila listens to her body, and gives it the food it needs. As a celebrity, with constant eyes on her, it can be hard to remember every one is different.  Here’s a post she made highlighting the struggle.  Intuitive eating allows for a little wiggle room too, so Cabello can indulge in her favorites here and there too!

  • Culturally Connected

    Camila Cabello was born in Cuba, so she often looks for food that reminds her of home.  While she craves the food, it also provides comfort and familiarity.

  • Small and Balanced

    Strict diets are out, but portion control is IN! Camila tries to eat small meals with whole foods and nutrients. Cabello’s trainer says it’s about “healthy lifestyling.” Eat smaller meals with nutrient dense food!

  • Slow Down!

    One key to intuitive eating is eating slowly.  Despite a busy lifestyle, taking her time to eat a meal is important. Eating quickly can cause us to overeat, because we don’t realize we’re full.
