The Columbia County Board of Commissioners and the Columbia County School District are hosting a job fair on Monday, March 21, 2022 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. It will take place at the Columbia County Exhibition Center - 212 Partnership Drive, Grovetown, Georgia.

The job fair is for a variety of skilled-trade and professional positions.  Team members from Columbia County will be on site from:

  • Engineering Services
  • Fire Rescue
  • Fleet Services
  • Human Resources
  • Leisure Services
  • Library Services
  • Public Transit
  • Recreation
  • Road Construction
  • Stormwater Operations and Compliance
  • Technology Services
  • Traffic Engineering
  • Water Utility
  • Columbia County Sheriff's Office

These team member will provide information to interested candidates and answer any questions.

The Columbia County School District will also have staff members on site from:

  • Department of Human Resources
  • Department of Transportation
  • Department of Facilities
  • Maintenance and Operations
  • Department of School Nutrition

The new starting base pay for Columbia County is $15 an hour with 11 paid holidays, retirement, employee medical clinic, education tuition reimbursement, free life insurance, onsite training, wellness program and an employee fitness center.
